Welcome to Findlay!

We invite you, your family and friends to attend the 9th annual Flag City Hot Air Balloonfest which will be held in Findlay, Ohio on the weekend of August 15– 17 2008 All events take place at Emory Adams Park which is in the south east section of the City.

The Event Committee has been working diligently to bring to our community the best possible venue for this weekend. This year will prove to be more spectacular then those in the past. We have a full weekend of fun and activities for the entire family and best of all it’s a free family event. Along with the Hot Air Balloon Flights and Evening Illuminations we have added a spectacular Harley-Davidson Motorcycle show on Saturday.

in Findlay, Ohio

We also have a 5K Run, Corvette Car Show, Voices for Children Kids Fair, Food Vendors, Boy Scout activities, Sky Divers and many more events of interested and entertainment. We will be offering paid tethered Hot Air Balloon rides and Helicopter rides on a first come first serve basis.

We will begin the activities on Friday, August 15th at 5:00 pm and conclude the Balloon events on Sunday morning. The Balloon activities will take place during the early morning and late afternoon when the winds are most favorable.

We have a wonderful weekend planned for you at this premier Northwest Ohio event. You won’t want to miss the color and excitement of Hot Air Balloons filling the skies with color over Findlay Ohio. Come one, come all to this free community event, an experience you don’t want to miss.

Just in case it wasn’t clear, let me remind you that this is a FREE Community Event brought to you by the generosity of our sponsors. Please note who they are and thank them for their support.

You truly don’t want to miss any of the activities at the 9th annual Flag City Balloonfest. So come early bring your lawn chair and spend the day. Food vendors are available to serve your needs.
